Which facilitation strategy would you avoid using again?

This is such a great question! I wonder what others think? In my case, one of my biggest challenges in facilitation is being an outsider and not sufficiently communicating expectations. Another challenge is dealing with large groups and asking people to leave if too many want to participate. In practice, I find this really difficult because facilitating a huge group is not conducive to quality data, but asking people to leave is also very difficult to do without offending anyone or excluding anyone. Ideally, we could do two groups in these situations.
